## Written prayer

Dear Lord, We come before You humbled by the mystery of Your justice and the depth of Your mercy. You see our faults clearly, yet You are patient with us. Even in correction, Your heart is for healing, not harm. We confess how pride hardens us and how easily we resist conviction. Breathe through our shame and soften what has grown defensive. Teach us to remain where You are working, not to flee discomfort, but to let it shape us. You do not abandon those who fall, and You do not leave us unchanged. Let sorrow refine us and wisdom rise from repentance. Clear our vision so we may see You more truly, and restore our hearts to joy in Your presence. When we return to You, make us whole. Amen.
