## Written prayer

Dear Lord, I praise You for the blessing of friendship. Without my friends, life can seem unbearable and lonely. Help me never to take for granted this incredible gift. Teach me to be a true friend and to show love and faithfulness above all else. Remind me that a true friend who sticks closer than a brother is the best of friends. I thank You for Your faithfulness when I require companionship. May I also be merciful and kind towards others, built on the foundation of eternal love which you have given us.
