## Written prayer

Lord, forgive me for wanting to do things my way. I lived for my own pleasure and pursued what I thought best for my life. I followed my will instead of your word. We have all sinned and turned to our own ways at time, yet while we were sinners, Jesus, you paid the price for our sins. You carried my sins to the cross instead of me. You saved me from ruin. You were the sinless sacrifice that paid for the sins of the whole world. What a great sacrifice you made because of your love for humanity. I love because you first loved me. There is no greater love than yours. Amen.
