## Written prayer

Heavenly father, my heart is filled with humble gratitude for what your son did for all mankind and me. He destroyed sin through his death on the cross. He atoned for my sins and the sin of the world. I see through his death the awful consequences of sin. It seems many take sin too lightly and get trapped by its influence and have no way out. It is only through the shed blood of your son that I am free from the power of sin. Many don’t know the truth of the power in the blood of Jesus to remove sin and struggle in their own strength to eradicate its influence. Once they exhaust all human options and invoke the power of God, they realize sin is part of the spiritual battle that is only won in the spiritual realm. Once I surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ he goes to work to defeat my enemies. When I identify with the death of Christ through water baptism, I become dead to my sin nature and gain authority in the spiritual realm. I have a clean conscience and more power to demolish Satan's strongholds that seek to prevent me from serving God in truth and love. I am now free to live for Jesus and serve him with all my heart in gratitude for all he has liberated me from. Thank You Jesus. In Your name, amen.
