Dear Lord, You created this world through the power of your spoken word. What a fantastic miracle that is. When I speak your name, the powerful name of Jesus, I create a fortress of protection around me. I take refuge in the safety of your mercy, longsuffering, power, and truth. These virtues are what lift me above my troubles. I run to the safety of your name. When I don’t know how to pray I just whisper your name and I am safe in your strong tower of love. I rely on you, Lord, for you are my grand champion. Your delight in my humility when I trust in you. Amen.
