## Written prayer

Dear Lord, You have blessed us with the gift of liberty, freedom not merely for self-interest, but for the capacity to serve and love one another. In this freedom, Lord, we ask that you guide us not to yield to our fleshly desires, but to serve each other in love. Through Christ, our ultimate example of service and sacrifice, may we manifest Your love in our daily actions and interactions, always remembering that we are called to be of service, and not just to be served. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, we pray. Amen.
