## Written prayer

Dear Lord, our hearts so easily drift from You. We chase after comfort, success, and control—forgetting that none of these can truly satisfy. Though our idols may not be made of gold, they still steal our attention and devotion. Forgive us, Lord, for giving our hearts to things that cannot save. Tear down the false gods we’ve built—those hidden desires, fears, and ambitions that take Your place. Remind us that You alone are worthy of our worship. Teach us to find our joy, our peace, and our purpose in You alone. Help us to love You with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength. When our loyalty wavers, draw us back by Your grace. Let our lives reflect a heart fully devoted to You, free from distraction and filled with gratitude. You are our God, our refuge, and our first love. Amen.
