> For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

## Written prayer

Lord, I celebrate you today with thanksgiving in my heart for all you have done for me. Salvation was not cheap, and peace was not easily won. It took Your sacrifice on the cross. Through You and You alone, I am redeemed. You could have left me in darkness, but you made a way to Your light instead. Thank you, Lord! Teach me today to walk in this new life you have given me – an eternal life with You that begins even now. In Your name, Amen.
