Dear Lord, sometimes the pain of my past overwhelms my heart, and clouds my thinking. fill me with your hope. Please help me to heal these wounds, and to release my fears, anxieties, and feelings of shame. Please fill my heart and mind with your love, light, and hope. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
