## Written prayer

Lord, when I am walking in obedience to your word I trust you are in control of my life. Whatever circumstances you allow to challenge me will be turned for my good. Your goal is to restore my understanding of who I am as a child or God and mature me spiritually and emotionally. All the situations I confront are designed to help me grow and exercise your word and my faith. At first, they seem overwhelming, but as I press into you in prayer and search your word for answers, I gain the strength I need to rise above what I am facing. Thank you for the new freedom on the other side of my difficulties. Amen
