# Morning Prayer on Hebrews 11:4

> By faith, Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he had testimony given to him that he was righteous, God testifying with respect to his gifts; and through it he, being dead, still speaks.

## Written prayer

Dear Lord,

You are worthy of my continual devotion. I want my faith to be like Abel’s, who gave the best of what he had in faith. I want to give you my best, Lord, not my leftovers. I want the sacrifice of my time, talent, and treasure to be acceptable to you. Increase my faith, Lord. And give me more opportunities to take leaps of faith so that my life could also be like Abel’s - speaking to generations after me.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
