## Written prayer

Dear Father, as I approach this holiday season, I am more mindful of the magnificent gift of eternal life you have given me through Jesus Christ. I see people stressed out, rushing around buying presents for their family and friends, but no present compares to your gift of life. Estrangement from you caused me to act selfishly and commit shameful offenses. I was dying inside but didn't know it. Your love reached out and encompassed me. You forgave my sins and gave me a new life - an eternal life beyond death. I can't help but sing Glory to the King of King and celebrate the grandeur of this season. Amen.
