## Written prayer

Thank you dear Lord, for extending your truth to the Jews first, your chosen people, and calling them to repentance from dead works. It is not about legal rituals but by faith and faith alone. When I compromise my walk and turn to sin I turn away from you and need to repent and turn back. You see my heart and know the true Godly sorrow I feel for my immoralities, and the inward sins and lusts I indulged in.  I bow my head in shame for my self-indulgence that brought humiliation into my life. There is no healing, forgiveness, or restoration without repentance. It is only when I turn back to you and change my ways of thinking that your blessings are poured out. When I do I find peace in your presence and my joy is restored. I can no longer deceive myself and tolerate the sins of my past. I can’t believe how I could have been so blind and lived in bondage for so many years. My life is committed to you Lord, and I will spend the rest of my days doing good and bringing your light and love to those in need. In Jesus name, amen.
