Dear Lord, you are holy and righteous, yet you call imperfect people to serve you. We confess our selfishness and the ways we have treated what is sacred with carelessness. Have mercy on us. Remove the hardness in our hearts and renew a spirit of humility, obedience, and trust within us. Strengthen us to walk in your ways when the world pulls us aside. Let even our small acts of faithfulness shine with your truth and point others to you. Thank you for your steadfast love that never fails, even when we stumble. You are our hope, our refuge, and the one we long to glorify in all we do. Amen.
