## Written prayer

Dear Lord, You are a God of mercy. Because of the cross, we have been given countless second chances. We come before You, not as self-righteous Christians, but as humble and broken human beings. We recognize our flaws, shortcomings, and need for mercy. Just as the tax collector beat his chest in sorrow and begged for mercy, we come before You with humility. Forgive us, Lord. Cleanse us of unrighteousness. Raise us up to new life in You. Empower us to live lives that honor You and showcase Your glory to the world. We trust that You will provide all the strength required to make a difference.
