## Written prayer

Oh, Lord my God! It grieves me to see people acting like undisciplined children. Their unbridled anger and undisciplined behavior does not glorify your name. I cannot trust people who act like spoiled children and were not taught to control themselves. I am heartbroken when they do not consider others, and lie, and cheat to push their way into positions of authority at work or in politics. Lord, please protect me from such selfish people. Help me to have your truth on the tip of my tongue to share with others. Teach me to let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight. I need your strength Lord for my heart is often filled with anger and resentment. I have to constantly forgive those who I see serving their own self interests. It is my desire, Lord, that my words be seasoned with grace and wisdom and come from a heart at peace in You. Strengthen my spirit to rule over my flesh. My desire is to glorify your name, in Jesus name, Amen.
