## Written prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, You are gracious and merciful in all Your ways. We thank You for the peace that surpasses all understanding that comes from knowing You are always with us and guiding us down a path of righteousness. We stand amazed at how You shine Your light on our lives in the midst of every darkness we may be facing. Your word, Lord, gives us courage and strength to stand firm in our faith. We cling to the truth of 2 Corinthians 4:16-17, that even when we are facing painful trials, You have given us a spirit of power and love and self-control. Help us to lean on Your presence and trust You for the path ahead.
