## Written prayer

Dear Lord, I thank you that the light of your lamp shines on me and surrounds me at night. I feel the warmth of your presence as I lay my head on my pillow and know you are near. As I review my day and think about what I might have done better your light comforts me and assures me of your love. You encourage me to think about what I did right and build on the positives to set my intentions for tomorrow. You are light, and there is no darkness in you. Dispel the negative thoughts that want to intrude in the night. Amen.
