> Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

## Written prayer

Dear God, we live in a world full of demands and distractions. There will be moments when others will pull me in different directions, and my to-do list is endless. Please remind me to be present in my faith when these situations arise. Please help me to let go of everything else going on and focus my heart and attention towards You. May I always surrender to You in prayer no matter how overwhelming my day may be. Amen.
