## Written prayer

Father, I bless your holy name for you are the God and father of my Lord Jesus Christ. Because of his great mercy I have been given new birth. I have been born into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. A hope that transcends this life and gives me the hope of glory to spend eternity with my lord in heaven forever. How great is your mercy Lord? You were crucified, dead and buried but after 3 days you rose again into eternal life. You broke the power of sin and death and delivered me from the enemies grasp. Through your sacrificial death I am born again into the kingdom of Jesus Christ. I am legally transferred out of the kingdom of darkness and made a citizen of heaven. Now I need to learn the rights and privileges of my new heavenly home. That’s why I am in the world but not of it. I am only passing through on my way to heaven. There is nothing I can offer you but my heart and trusting obedience. What you have done for me is beyond gratitude. Words cannot express the depth of love I have for you in my heart. That is why I will serve you and share that love with others. Glory to the risen Lord, In Jesus name, amen.
