## Written prayer

Yes, Lord you are my mighty deliverer and I will sing your praises all the days of my life. You delivered me from the powerful grip of the enemy who had taken me captive. He held me down and bound me up with fear, anxiety, depression, and shame. The oppression of the enemy was too strong for me and I had no ability to defeat all those he sent against me. You in your mercy saw my plight and came to my rescue. You put your foot down on the back of my oppressors and broke their influence against me. You showed me how powerful you are on my behalf and set me free. You drove my oppressors far away from my door, and even gave me what was theirs as my reward. You are slow to anger but when you hear the cry of your people you come forth as a roaring lion to scatter the enemy harassing your children. You are my victorious king, my hero and glorious champion, the great God who goes before me to defeat my enemies. The one who looks after me and is ready to come to my aid when I cry out. I love you Lord and I thank you for all your goodness in Jesus name, amen.
