## Written prayer

Dear Lord, You are the God of light, seeing what is hidden and knowing the truth beneath our intentions. We come before You aware of how easily our hearts wander—drawn by comfort, power, and distraction. You search us fully and are not fooled by appearances or success. When we begin building kingdoms of our own, turn our eyes back to Yours. When our desires drift, call us back with mercy. Forgive us for forgetting You even in moments of blessing. Teach us to desire You more than what You provide. Anchor our lives in faithfulness, not recognition, and shape us to follow the One who came to serve, not to be served. Amen.
