## Written prayer

Dear Lord, everyday it seems that I see people act without compassion, love, or empathy. It makes me feel so sad and depressed. Lord, please help me to not fall victim to despair or fear. Please help touch my heart with hope and courage to act as you would have me act. And please bless me with a compassionate and forgiving heart toward others. Thank you, Lord.
