## Written prayer

Dear Lord, You are the true source of rest and peace. Our hearts are so easily pulled in many directions, but in You we find a place to lay our burdens down. We thank You for being there with us through every moment of our lives, even when we don't understand why things happen the way they do. Your promise of rest is a comfort to us, and You are strong enough to uphold it. Grant us the grace to put aside our worries and focus on Your presence in order that we may receive Your peace. May we look forward with hope as we seek rest in You.
