# Global Prayer on Philippians 2:9

## Written prayer

Lord, you know what true humility is. You divest yourself of your divinity and humbled yourself to take on all the limiting elements of humanity. You became one of us and became the word of God in the flesh. You lived with all the emotions and challenges we face in life. Your heart was free of all sin and you had one purpose and that was to do the will of your father. One man’s disobedience, Adam, brought the curse of death and one man's obedience, Jesus, broke that curse and restored us to the father. You humbled yourself and were willing to die on a cross so all mankind could choose life through your shed blood. Because of your obedience unto death your name is above every name and you are highly exalted for your obedience. After three days, when all hope was gone and the enemy thought he had won, you burst the bonds of wickedness and rose from the dead with the keys of death in your hands. You regained your rightful authority and delivered the winning blow to finish the plans of the enemy. Thank you for the resurrection power of life flowing through my veins. I will not let the enemy defeat me but I will rise in triumph through the blood of Jesus Christ my resurrected Lord. In Jesus name, amen.
