## Written prayer

Heavenly Father, you created everything in the beginning and saw that it was all good. The only thing that you decided to improve was a need for companionship for Adam. Other than that, the food, the vegations, the animals, the universe, the moon, stars, etc. it was all gloriously good. Many religions restrict certain foods and label them clean or unclean and to be obtained from. But we are to receive food with thanksgiving and as we sanctify it with prayer and ask for God to bless it for the nourishment of our bodies he will. It is not about the food as much as it is about faith, trust and discipline. I am not under the law and have been liberated through Christ but if an immature brother is offended by my freedom I may want to reconsider my choices. What I am comfortable with in private I need to consider those I am gathered with and for what purpose. My faith allows me to pray over food and believe all will be sanctified and good for eating. When I receive food with the grateful and thankful heart God calls it good for nourishment. Thank you Lord for setting me free from bondage to the law. Where the spirit of the Lord is liberty. In Jesus name, amen.
