## Written prayer

Dear Lord, you are high above all the earth, and your ways far exceed our understanding. Yet you invite us to draw near. Forgive us when we try to fit you into our expectations or reduce you to something we can control. Forgive us when pride blinds us to your holiness. Teach us to walk in reverence, honoring you as the sovereign King of the universe. Give us wisdom to recognize where we have presumed upon your grace. And when we fail, remind us of your mercy that renews us each morning. Help us trust not in symbols or traditions, but in you alone. Lead us in humility so we may know the joy and peace of your presence. Amen.
