Dear Lord, your voice calls us to obedience, not to burden us but to lead us into life. Yet we confess how often we follow our own way. Fear, pride, and self-interest drown out your truth. Forgive us for hearing without listening and for offering half-hearted obedience, thinking it is enough. Fill the cracks in our imperfect hearts with your mercy. Give us ears that hear, hearts that trust, and hands that act in faith. Shape us into people who delight in your commands and walk in your ways. And when we stumble, remind us that your grace is not only a refuge—it is an invitation to rise and follow you more closely. Renew us, strengthen us, and lead us in paths of righteousness for your name’s sake. Amen.
