## Written prayer

Dear Lord, You are the author of truth and the source of all knowledge. Today, as we meditate on Your word, we are reminded that true wisdom is shown in how we apply Your truth. We don’t want to be ignorant hypocrites who know how to recite the Bible but never apply it to our lives. Guide us, Lord, and teach us how to apply knowledge and embody truth. Give us opportunities to practice what we preach, and be patient with us when we fail. We know that wisdom – true wisdom — will have a positive effect on the lives around us. We trust You to teach us, mold us into Your image, and use us for Your glory.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
