## Written prayer

Dear Lord, I will proclaim your merciful goodness all the days of my life. You are slow to anger and preserver with my stumblings and grumblings. When I fall short and get tempted into sin you are there to pick me up and dust me off with your love. It is your goodness that leads me to repentance. I am so humbled in your presence that all I want to do is be near you. Your mercy endures forever and you extend your grace to me over and over again. No one is like you. No human love can ever compare to how you love me. It is your love that heals my wounded heart and causes me to trust your purposes for my life. I see the truth of how you love me and believe in your word. You are a real and ever present help in time of trouble. Your love never fails. You are my advocate and understand how difficult it is to trust when so many have disappointed me and let me down. The more I see the truth about who you are the more I fall in love with you and will follow you forever, in Jesus name, amen.
