## Written prayer

Dear Lord, You are the fountain of all wisdom. Everything we need to know begins with reverence for You. We often look elsewhere for answers—our own reasoning, the opinions of others—but only in You do we find true understanding. Forgive us for the pride that keeps us from seeking Your counsel first. Teach us to listen before we act, to pause before we speak, and to welcome Your wisdom in all things. When the path ahead is unclear, remind us that Your guidance never fails. Surround us, Lord, with voices that speak truth and point us back to You. Give us discernment to recognize Your leading, even when it challenges our desires. Let Your Word be the light that directs our steps. You are our Teacher, our Counselor, and our God. Lead us in wisdom today and always. Amen.
