## Written prayer

Dear Lord, You are the giver of every good thing, and You bless us not to hoard but to share, not to inflate our pride but to deepen our trust in You. Yet we confess that greed finds its way into our hearts more easily than we like to admit. We are drawn to what glitters, and in those moments, we forget Your promises. We grasp at what cannot satisfy, hoping it will fill the emptiness inside—but it never does. Teach us to live open-handed. Help us hold Your gifts with gratitude and release them with joy. Remind us again and again that You are enough—more than enough. When the world insists that security comes from possessions, drown out the lies with Your truth. When selfish gain tempts us, turn our hearts back to You. You are the God of abundance, who withholds no good thing from those who love You. Shape us into people whose treasure is found in You alone. Amen.
