## Written prayer

Father, you never cease to amaze me. You know how to cause me to surrender to your love. Moses thought he had to carry the weight of the people he led out of Egypt. He came to a place in the desert when he realized that the task was impossible for him and he couldn’t do it in his own strength. The weight of the responsibility was to heavy for him to bare. I know you never expect us to carry the weight of the assignments you call us to carry alone. It’s Emanuel, God with us at all times. When I look to my own intellect, physical strength, our ability to carry me through a God ordained assignment I will certainly fail - or burn out - and drop out. The God size assignments can’t be carried in my human flesh. The weight of the anointing needed to accomplish the tasks is too much for my flesh. That is why I must give these burdens over to you, Lord, and let you lead me in the way you want it done. As I follow your lead you will lift the weight off my shoulders and I will watch you do extraordinary things I never could have done. You can open doors, and cause opportunities to rise up that I never even thought of. Thank you for being the one who carries the burdens to heavy for me to bear. In Jesus name, amen.
