# Midday Prayer on Isaiah 43:18-19

> Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

## Written prayer

Almighty God, You are the One who makes a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert. You turn the rugged mountains into roads and make them level paths for Your people to traverse. We marvel at Your power and authority over all things, both seen and unseen. Your mercies never fail - they are new every morning, and we thank You for Your grace and compassion. Your love is perfect and endures forever, even when times are hard. We trust in You to lead us through the dark valleys and shadows that can try to overtake us, knowing that You will always be faithful.
