## Written prayer

Dear Lord, Praise You for the hope of Your salvation. When our hearts feel adrift, like a boat tossed by the waves, You are an anchor for us. You are steadfast and trustworthy. This truth grounds me and keeps my anxious thoughts from consuming me. When the thoughts seem to dark, and the chaos seems too loud, would You steady me in You? Would You take my heart and mind captive and remind me of Your goodness?

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
