## Written prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, As we come before You today, we ask for Your help to refrain from anger and to turn away from wrath, as Psalm 37:8 encourages us to do. We pray for the ability to trust in You, knowing that You are in control and that Your plans for us are good. Help us to wait patiently for You to act, rather than taking matters into our own hands. May we be filled with Your peace and joy, even in difficult circumstances, and may our lives reflect Your love and grace to those around us.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
