## Written prayer

Lord, you are amazing. When your Spirit moves into any situation, no matter how dark and void of form it may be, your Spirit will always make something beautiful out of it. You are the creative God of the whole universe. You flung the stars into the heavens, and created the planets that spin in perfect synchronicity as they orbit around the sun. You tend to every detail of your creation with a masters touch. No two snowflakes are alike and no two fingerprints are the same. Each and every thing you do is new and unique. I marvel at the wonder of it all. When I look up at the endless blue sky and it’s magnificent array of clouds, or smell the fresh air after a spring shower, and watch the buds burst forth to form a bouquet of brightly colored flowers: I am astonished at the world you created for my pleasure and enjoyment. I praise you each day for the exquisite beauty that surrounds me. When I look at the darkness that sometimes confronts me and seeks to overwhelm me, I only have to look around at my creative God and am reminded that nothing is impossible for you. You will make something beautiful out of every situation I face, as I trust in you.

In Jesus name, Amen.
