## Written prayer

Dear Lord, I thank you that I do not have to fear any evil for you are with me. Even the shadow of death will not terrify me for you will safely lead me to the other side where I will receive the full inheritance of your everlasting love. Your rod defends me, and your staff guides me back when I stray from your path of righteousness. Thank you for the comfort of knowing you will never leave me or forsake me even if I make a wrong turn. Help me listen for your voice and trust in your care. You will course correct my footsteps and lead to your perfect will for my life. Amen.
