## Written prayer

Lord, when I put you first and keep my thoughts on you, I am dwelling in the secret place of your presence. We are in constant communion. When I rest in our intimate companionship, I am under the shadow of your protection, and filled with the peace and security of your love. You hover over me and watch out for me. Your faithfulness toward me responds to my faith in you. What a comforting revelation to know you are always with me and delight in blessing me. You are my constant companion, and I desire to abide with you under your almighty shadow of protection. You are my secret hiding place. Amen.
