## Written prayer

Dear Lord Jesus, You modeled perfect sacrifice on the cross. You displayed the greatest act of love by laying down Your life and humbling Yourself toward the point of death. We pray for this same posture in all husbands out there. We pray that they would have the same humble heart as You, Lord. May every husband lay down their own ego, time, energy, and life for the sake of their bride, just as You did. Give them the fortitude and strength to humbly serve their wives as You served us. Give them the wisdom to cultivate their wives’ hearts like gardens, with the same tender love and care that You show us.

In Jesus name, Amen.
