## Written prayer

Dear Lord, help me not to complain or murmur against you when I am in distress. Help me to magnify your work and recognize your mercy, even in difficult times. You inhabit the praises of your people, and when I chose to give you honor and recognition amid my sufferings, others around me see your grace in my plight. Give me patient endurance. Help me during my difficult times so others will see your goodness and how you are there to give me comfort. Help me understand how to rest in your strength when I am weak in my own. I bless your Holy Name, Lord Jesus. Amen.
