## Written prayer

Lord, we all long to have your healing touch. To have provisions for all our needs to come from you. But, too often when I cannot see you or I think You take too long to answer my needs. I turn to other ways or people to find healing and answers to my needs. Lord, why do you wait so long at times to respond to my requests for help? It is difficult when I have emergencies and it seems You take your time to answer me. When I wait on You I think I may die or fall apart or wander off to a god who will answer me more quickly. As I continue to pray and try to be patient I hear you speak to my heart about what you are doing in my waiting. When I read Your Word you say that your truth will set me free. Does that mean you will heal my disease or solve my problems? As I wait on You I feel your presence and my faith grows to trust you as you renew my strength to face life’s difficulties. But, Lord, I still long to see your miraculous power move on my behalf. I will wait for you as you make me patient and I gain internal strength. Bless You Lord, my God, my King! In Jesus name, amen.
