## Written prayer

Dear Lord, God of mercy and truth, we come before You not with perfect words, but with honest and trembling hearts. You are El Emeth—the God of truth—, and You know how easily we falter when we lean on deception instead of obedience. How often do we choose convenience over trust, cleverness over integrity? You are patient, yet You do not overlook falsehood, and in Your wisdom You allow our compromises to surface—not to crush us, but to draw us back to what is real and strong enough to sustain us. We confess the shortcuts we’ve justified, the secrets we’ve buried, and the failures now pressing against us. Forgive us. Strengthen what still stands. In our weakness, be our strength; in our confusion, be our steady guide. Teach us the courage to be honest and the quiet power found in choosing integrity. Make us people who walk in the light, not because we are flawless, but because we trust Your mercy. Lead us today by truth, in truth, for the sake of truth. Amen.
