## Written prayer

Dear Lord, You see every motive and every quiet compromise. We confess how easily we are tempted by what is expedient instead of what is right, and how often comfort silences courage. Cleanse us of fear that hides as wisdom. Teach us to desire righteousness more than reward and Your approval more than applause. Train our hearts to love what You love and to reject paths that promise power at the cost of integrity. Remind us that mercy is not weakness, but the mark of a life shaped by You. Take us into Your confidence as we choose the upright way. Amen.
