## Written prayer

Dear Lord, We confess the pride that so easily takes root in our hearts. Like Miriam and Aaron, we sometimes seek recognition instead of service. We forget that You alone are the One who lifts and brings low. Forgive us for the moments when we chase after praise or compare ourselves to others. Teach us to walk in humility, trusting that You see what others do not. Help us to serve quietly, to honor You in both our words and our actions. When pride rises within us, remind us of Your gentleness and grace. Let our hearts be shaped by Your example—humble, patient, and full of love. We surrender our desire for control and acclaim, believing that true greatness comes from lowering ourselves before You. In all things, may we reflect Your glory, knowing that You will lift us in Your perfect time. Amen.
