## Written prayer

Dear Lord, you announce your intentions through your prophets, and they shouted your glorious truth in preparation for the Lord’s coming to deliver his people. What glad tidings that voice brought to the people waiting for the messiah and redemption. We are now able to proclaim that good news to the world around us. We are the people of God who have received the truth and must share it with others. Christmas is a time to remind others that the Lord has come to dwell among us. Help me prepare the way of the Lord so others will hear his voice. Prepare the hearts of those I encounter to receive the good news of God's grace. Amen.
