## Written prayer

Father, it is your desire that I join with other believers and we encourage and support one another in our faith.  You want me to grow in the knowledge of your word through sound teaching. You want me to take your word and put it into practice through fellowship with other believers, worship, and extended acts of kindness. As I come together with the community to “break bread” I am not only participating in a love feast but honoring the Lord’s supper. As I partake of the sacred elements of communion I align myself with my lord and savior. I am partaking of his body that was bruised for my iniquities and his blood that was shed for the remission of my sins. I am building myself up in the holiest of faith.  When I gather together with your body of believers in oneness of spirit, you are in the midst of us, your presence descends and empowers our prayers as we seek your will for how to pray. Thy will be done, Lord, on earth as it is in heaven. May I always stay steadfast in my desire to grow in the fullness of your grace with my fellow believers, in Jesus name, amen.
