## Written prayer

Dear Lord, You see what lies beneath our striving and know how easily we mistake control for calling. We confess how often we chase approval and fear losing influence, forgetting that You remain sovereign. Forgive us for confusing ambition with obedience and visibility with faithfulness. Teach us the way of humility—the slow, surrendered path where You are lifted high and our pride is laid down. Remind us that true strength is found in yielding to Your will and trusting Your timing. Even in weakness or loss, You are present and at work. Help us receive what You give, release what we cling to, and rest in the truth that Your glory is never rushed and never misplaced. Amen.
