## Written prayer

O Lord, words cannot express the joy in my heart when I tell you how proud I am to say you are my God! I don’t care how funny people look at me when I tell them I am a child of the most high God. They may ridicule me but I don’t care. I will exalt the one true living God of the entire universe. I am grateful you are not embarrassed to call me your own. The ones who scolded me for believing in you are what your word calls, fools, and I pray you will show them mercy and open their eyes. I will praise your name through all eternity for all the wonderful things you have done for me. They are too many to recount. Every day your mercies and blessings abound. The gift of eternal life is beyond comprehension. There is no way to show my gratitude for all you have done to save me from death and for granting me eternal life. Your purposes are eternal and will stand forever as your faithful truth. No matter how others try to destroy and denigrate your truth it is still absolute truth. This universe is upheld by the faithfulness of your eternal purposes. In Jesus name, amen.
