## Written prayer

My Father and my God, allow Your Spirit to flood my heart and mind tonight. Let Your Word keep me grounded when temptation tries to shift me away from You. Hold my hand and pull me toward You when the enemy is eager for me to follow. Please help me to step back and spend time with You when I feel overwhelmed so that I can reset my thoughts and behavior in order to stay on the path that You have set before me. Father, lift me with Your Spirit away from any darkness and keep my eyes focused on the light. May Your presence always be near to keep me safe throughout the night. Amen.
